Summary

In order to swap tokens between Shiden (SDN) and Binance Smart Chain (BSC), we investigated and compared feature of well-known bridge protocols; Multichain protocol, Hop protocol, and ChainBridge. Especially we researched ChainBridge in detail. We figured out the pros and cons of the bridge protocol, and made suggestions to improve it.

ChainBridge is a custodial swap protocol currently, and it has several challenges to solve for the decentralized public swap method.

Multichain protocol (AnySwap)

• Using Fusion DCRM, produced by Fusion Inc.
• Multichain could be used to swap variable tokens such as ERC20, Native token, or NFTs.

• Directly swaps from layer2 to layer2 using AMM liquidity, without withdrawal lock.
• Can be moved to layer1 by burning.
• Similar to Connext.
